Snow Day!

It snowed pretty hard yesterday. I woke up to take photos with ~IrishAngel. We hung out all day. It's still icy out, so I will not be going to work today and class was canceled. Anyways, I will post a few photos from the day. I didn't get very many good ones.

This is a group for people in and around North Carolina who are interested in meeting others from deviantART. We try to meet at least four times a year and each meet is tons of fun and art!

#fun4fun is a chatroom about... well, fun! It is a new experience for deviants to hang out in, be themselves, and make new friends. Post thumbs, chat, roleplay, whatever!

I am very new to photography having started with a Canon PowerShot SD1000 on January 5th, 2008. My interest in photography was sparked by the many sunrises and sunsets I would see on my way too and from school each day and wanting to freeze the sky as it was and save it away forever. I begged my mother constantly to get me a camera for my birthday or Christmas, but it never happened. I finally saved up money from Christmas and work and bought a little PowerShot for $271. Being new to the world of cameras (and thus stupid) I found that to be a bargain.
I started out only snapping pictures of sunsets and sunrises and posting them on my account on deviantART. I was encouraged to try other things and before I knew it I had been sucked into photography. Everything in this world I find to be visually interesting, I will try to capture in a way that compliments it.
I recently decided to dive into this world even deeper by making a huge investment in purchasing a Nikon D90 (as a second camera…in under a year). I think I understand it pretty well and know how to use it, but I have decided to allow this site to be the judge of that.
